Complaints About Midway USA
Although many of our grads are Midway USA wholesale (dealer) customers, we also get NUMEROUS complaints that Midway USA sometimes turns down dealer applicants, with and without FFL's! First, you have to understand that Midway USA is a "mega" (giant) internet DEALER, NOT a distributor or wholesaler. Because of this, they have a "pseudo" dealer setup, but at the first sign (even mistaken) that you might have a web business, even if you are a gifted graduate Gunsmith or Reloader, they will immediately deny you.
This "closed source" attitude is an old type of thinking, and a way to try to stop competition. Even those with FFLs that have more than one address, or a couple email addresses, will often be denied "dealer" status because of this old way of thinking type of fear. (Smart newer companies are all about open source and encouraging YOUR success). The letter below has been very successful in getting our grads accepted there, however, we also refer thousands to Brownell's and Numrich, who do not discriminate this way. Midway USA is losing millions in business every time they refuse a PSU grad! Just follow the Wholesale Process, and ignore Midway, if they turn you down.
If you are a grad in pet care, counseling, firearms instruction, bodyguard, or many other fields, you have a completely different set of wholesalers, and this does not apply to you!

PSU is one of the largest Gunsmithing and Reloading Schools in the nation, graduating over 10,000 new gunsmiths and reloaders each month. Numrich, Brownells, and dozens of other top wholesalers welcome our professional grads as dealers each month. While we refer many grads to you, their experiences vary in being approved for dealer sales. We have told each of them that your process is to request their FFL, or State Tax ID, or City business license. Numrich and Brownell's approve 100% of our grads via a toll free fax to us at 866-857-2594 for certification validation and/or trade credit references.
