Is ITT Tech Accredited?

Here is the "answer" posted by the largest "answer" site on the web:

A. No, ITT is not Accredited. They claim national accreditation, but it is regional accreditation that really matters. If you want to go to a good school, go to one that is Regionally Accredited. Only Regional Accreditation and DOE listing matters, and most of the online schools do not have them. There are thousands of complaints and much controversy about ITT and their practices.

That "answer" is now taken as "Gospel" by many readers. The TRUTH is that the vast majority of TECHNICAL employers, including MICROSOFT and many others, ACCEPT ITT credentials, just like many accept PSU in PSU's specialty areas. What matters, getting "credits" accepted to go to more schools, or getting a great job, a new career, or starting your own licensed business and becoming wealthy and independent??!!

The people who complain, expect success to be handed to them on a silver platter. The people with good experiences work hard, and make the most of their credential-- regardless of where they got it. In fact, accreditation has ZERO impact on personal success-- you can be a Harvard grad living in a cardboard box on the street, or an online grad from a school with trade accreditation like PSU or ITT, who's the wealthy CEO of your own successful company.

In fact, the largest FULLY ACCREDITED online school in the world (U of P), has more complaints than any other school! They've even been accused of taking title to student's homes when they failed to make a tuition payment amounting to tens of thousands of dollars! These and many other lies are all over the web-- posted by losers who either flunked out or didn't have the energy or will or drive to succeed, regardless of where they were certified.

Winners make the best of the best, losers will complain regardless of how many accolades a school gets, and regardless of the source of accreditations. Our successful grads are making millions-- that's all we care about!! We have walls lined with success stories and thank you letters from our grads-- that's what matters.

Many of PSU's programs began as due diligence for bond originators, and this is still a very large part of our portfolio. For a professional to get certified or re-certified for their bond, a due diligence/ testing organization has to certify to the bond underwriter that the program participant meets minimum bonding requirements. Trade pros need bonds and CEU's to either get licensed, or keep their license, and PSU is the underlying bond approval source for the largest professional associations in the world, from Nuclear Engineers to Medicine, Military, Law Enforcement, Information technology, and Home based businesses. Pros that lose their bonds are sent to PSU by the granting association for remedial review and re-certification! If you didn't get your credential at PSU, and you then find you need a bond, you might be surprised to learn that PSU is actually accepting, rejecting, or approving your bond in the background! This is one of our largest divisions, and our underwriters include GE Capital, Wells Fargo, AIG, and hundreds of other surety originators and underwriters. Our lucky grads meet the requirements right out of the box--as they are built into every program and association recommendation we send. Often a year's association membership, or a discount, is INCLUDED with your PSU cert as well.

Refund Policy: Unlike ANY other school, PSU gives no-questions-asked refunds to any student who at least tries to complete the program. Try to get this from a "scam!" These are given on a sliding scale, based on how far you've gotten in the program, just like other schools, and applies even if you do not pass! The ONE exception to ANY refund is an enrollee that sends, promulgates, publishes, promotes, or repeats hostile, critical, lying, slanderous, accusatory, foul language or other communications or threats, or is simply demonstrating buyer's remorse. We have tens of thousands of successful enrollees each week, but if a student chooses to read, believe, and promulgate the lies of a few disgruntled users, NO refund will be given, and we will prosecute the attack for libel and slander, to the full extent of the law.
